Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about how disclose works.
Sales & verification
What does sale verification mean?
Every imported eBay sold listing is marked sale verified. TCGplayer sales keep their existing verification rule; community submissions remain unverified. The badge identifies a recorded sale, not proof of the amount paid, payment, authenticity, or the seller. For an accepted Best Offer without a confirmed amount, the displayed number may be the asking price and is labeled accordingly. Unverified records remain visible but appear dimmed. Learn how to interpret recorded prices.
What if there is fake or inaccurate data?
Trusted members of our team regularly review private sales. If something looks wrong while you browse sales, use that sale’s Report action and leave a short note for review.
Can I report a sale I think is inaccurate?
Yes. Every sale in Browse has a Report action. Leave a short note explaining what looks inaccurate and we’ll check it.
When sales data disappears from eBay or TCGPlayer, does it disappear from disclose too?
No. Sales logged on disclose remain part of the registry.
Accounts & access
Do I need an account to log a sale?
Yes. Accounts keep submissions accountable. Our team may ask first-time submitters for proof during review. The sale form's link and notes are optional. Log a sale to sign in and get started.
Is disclose free to use?
Yes, always. There are no ads, paywalls, or data selling. Learn more about the project on the About page.
